Any employer that has one or more employees whether they are full-time, part-time, permanent or temporary is required to offer workers compensation coverage for their employees.

• Any voluntary or unpaid workers for charitable, religious, educational or a nonprofit organization.
• Any student workers providing a service for a school, college club or university in exchange for room and board or tuition.
• Any duly ordained/commissioned minister with license or any priest or rabbi.
• Any domestic worker who earns less than $225 in cash per calendar quarter.
• Any domestic workers of public welfare recipients.
• Certain stockholders who hold twenty-five percent.
• Any fifty percent stockholders.
• Any real estate salespersons/brokers paid only on commission.
