As declared in 2002, corporate officers with a minimum of 25 percent interest in the company may claim exemption from coverage. This applies to officers only and cannot be done for any regular employees. Officers are required to complete an Affidavit of Exemption for Certain Corporate Officers or Directors - Form 153 with the DIA's Office to receive approval for exemption.
